Foreword by Nick Vujicic,
Founder of Life Without Limbs

When I was seven I remember feeling so alone, like Daniel.  My name is Nick Vujicic and I was born without arms and legs.  Even though my parents had a strong faith it was a very hard test for them.  Deep down I knew God had a significant purpose for my life, but there were very sad days, days when I was teased and made fun of. 

Maybe you too know how Daniel feels, and deep down inside you also are just waiting for that purpose to be revealed.  We cannot compare each other’s pain or hurts. Your hurts are just as important as my hurts.

I remember my Mother saying to me; “your eyes Nick, no one can change your sparkling eyes”.  I also was quite the talker and so I asked people their names and tried to be an encouragement to them, being the first one to say hello, always asking for a hug. Before too long we were friends and they forgot that I was missing arms and legs. Just like Daniel, when people got to know him they forgot that he was born with out a tail.

Now today I have made so many friends, speaking to millions around the world.  I teach them to realize that if God doesn’t give them the miracle they ask for, that they could be the miracle for someone else. 

Jeremiah 29:11 was a verse that changed my life when I was very young.

“For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord”, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future..”

God’s Holy Spirit touched me in a way I couldn’t have imagined and now by faith I know that my value is not determined on anything else but simply being a child of God, that I’m not forgotten, I’m not alone and I am called to a greater purpose. 

I believe, Daniel’s story “I HAVE A SPECIAL PURPOSE” will be instrumental in liberating and bringing hope to children who feel like giving up.  I know that there’s another little “Daniel” out there who is thinking, “I just wish someone knows who I really am and what I can really offer.”

God knows, God hears and He has an amazing plan for all our lives…Daniel knew that, I hope you do too!

So many amazing stories of faith... like 6th Grader Alex Fluegel who took the Parable of the Talents seriously in Matthew 25 and multiplied his Kingdom Assignment Challenge of $100 dollars into 360 mosquito nets, that will save lives in the Congo Region of Africa. And he has just gotten started!
