How can your church make a difference
in the aftermath of this human tragedy?

The Haiti KA Challenge...
Based on Kingdom Assignment 2:
"What Treasure Stands Between You And A Significant Relationship With God?"

1. Launch a special 30 day Kingdom Assignment with your congregation.
   
   
2. Jesus said in Mark 10:21, "Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." (This may be a great verse for you to base this challenge on)
   
   
3. Challenge your congregation to SELL something in their possession and bring the proceeds of that sale back to the church for a special Sunday offering on a specific date.
   
   
4. Pick a project or specific need in Haiti as a church through your denomination or an organization (i.e. World Vision, Compassion, World Relief, Red Cross, etc.) to contribute the money toward.  (Let your people know the project you are participating in)
   
   
5. Consider developing a plan to send people from your congregation to Haiti in teams to assist in short-term
   “Hands and Feet of Jesus” compassion/ relief/ rebuilding
   mission projects (one or more over the next year)
   
   
6. Report back to your congregation the progress/ stories of people being touched and lives that are being changed in and through this process

We have green  “ON ASSIGNMENT” wristbands that we can make available to your church for participants to wear as personal reminders and public interest items of your church’s project.
